PresentinG the Conflict in vietnam
Is the war really NECESSARY?
The Vietnam War is the biggest controversy in American today. But where is the controversy? The war is killing innocent civilians in South Vietnam (the people we are "protecting") and is forcing men from America to be drafted just to be killed in a pointless conflict. The soldiers don't even get the respect of the word war in technical terms. A "conflict" sounds like a little skirmish not a war (because that is what it is) that is still going on today. The Dove Informant has articles from both homeland issues over the war, and actual issues occurring in Vietnam. The articles from the homeland are written by Duncan Burnett, a young but skilled reporter getting firsthand accounts or retellings by the people who saw these tragic events unfold on American soil. The articles on the issues in Vietnam are covered by Cassidy Moore, she is also young and recently graduated from college, she is reporting directly from Vietnam where she sees the horrors of battle and gets exclusive interviews with the soldiers. Both reporters want the war to end, but each has a specific reason why. Duncan wants to see all of our troops returned home safe from Vietnam, and Cassidy wants the South Vietnamese people to stop suffering at the hands of their "protectors". We also have a part of the script from the first television interview with Sam Smith and Dean Williams, one of the heros during the Tet Offensive. This is exclusive content that can only be found at the Dove Informant!
